Goodwood Milford Fund Receives Fifth Award at the Canadian Hedge Fund of the Year Event

TORONTO, Oct. 19, 2016 /CNW/ – Goodwood Inc. is pleased to announce that the Goodwood Milford Fund (the “Fund”) received an award at Alternative IQ’s 2016 Canadian Hedge Fund of the Year Awards hosted by KPMG LLP.  The Fund received the award for the second consecutive year in the category of Best 5-Year Sharpe Ratio.  The Sharpe Ratio is an industry standard measurement for calculating risk-adjusted returns. This is the Fund’s fifth award since 2012:

  • 2012 – Best 3-year Annualized Return category;
  • 2012 – Best 3-Year Annualized Sharpe Ratio category;
  • 2014 – Best 5-Year Return category;
  • 2015 – Best 5-Year Sharpe Ratio category;
  • 2016 – Best 5-Year Sharpe Ratio category
