Peter H. Puccetti, CFA
Chairman, Chief Executive Officer & Chief Investment Officer

Peter Puccetti is the founder Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of the Goodwood Funds. The long/short Goodwood Fund began in October 1996 with a focus on special situations value investing. The Goodwood Fund is one of Canada's longest running long/short funds and is differentiated by its bottom-up stock picking focus, willingness to engage in activist investing without the use of derivatives or excessive leverage. Prior to starting the Goodwood Fund, Peter co-founded a successful institutional brokerage boutique, Puccetti Farrell Capital Corporation. Previously, Peter was an analyst, investment banker, partner and member of the Steering Committee of Sprott Securities Limited. Peter earned a Bachelor Of Arts in Economics (BA) from Dalhousie University and was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1991.

Curt Cumming
President, Chief Financial Officer

Curt Cumming is a Partner at Goodwood Inc. joining the company in 1999 as a Trader and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Goodwood, Curt was an Institutional Equity Trader with Kearns Capital (now Paradigm Capital) and prior to that a high net worth Investment Advisor with Altamira Securities. Curt sits on numerous industry regulation committees and is a graduate of Brock University.

Kate Sherkey, CFA
Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer

Katie Sherkey joined Goodwood Inc. in June 2005, and is responsible for trading, portfolio analytics, overseeing the fund accounting procedures and operational functions for the Goodwood Funds. Katie is also Chief Compliance Officer of the firm. Prior to joining Goodwood Inc., she was with TD Asset Management Inc. Katie holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance (BComm) from the University of Calgary, Haskayne School of Business and is a CFA Charterholder.

Ananth Krishnan, CFA
Investment Analyst

Ananth Krishnan is an investment analyst at Goodwood Inc. and joined the company in 2010. Prior to Goodwood, he worked in the investment banking, equity syndication and institutional equity trading groups at Scotia Capital and BMO Capital Markets. Ananth holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance (BComm) from the University of Calgary, Haskayne School of Business and is a CFA Charterholder.

 

Goodwood Advisory Committee

Cameron MacDonald, CFA

Cam is the Chairman of the Goodwood Advisory Committee and former President and CEO of Goodwood Inc. (from September 2000 to December 2012).  Prior to Goodwood Inc., Cam was a Director, member of the Research and Executive Committee, and shareholder of Connor Clark Private Trust (1990-1999). In April 1999, The Royal Bank of Canada purchased 100% of Connor Clark Private Trust. From 1983 through 1990 he held various positions at Wood Gundy(CIBC) -- Credit, Operations, and thereafter as an Account Executive (Vice President). Cam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (BA) from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a CFA Charterholder.
